It would take some time for my eyes to become accustomed to her radiant light, but that did not bother me because I knew that soon, I would be able to experience again the world from which I had been excluded for so long, for as you see, the darkness and the nightmares had not always pervaded my dreams.

I welcomed my new found friend’s company greatly because until that particular night, I had been alone in my dreams, surrounded in darkness, never knowing where I was, or where I was going, but now, thanks to her brilliance, I did not have to worry about that anymore.
